Nova caixa de Anthony Phillips, "Missing Links I - IV"
A Esoteric Recordings tem o prazer de anunciar o lançamento de "Missing Links I-IV", uma caixa em forma de concha com 5 CD's recentemente remasterizados, composta pelos 4 "Missing Links" originais. A série dos "Missing Links" começou por ser uma forma de preecher algumas lacunas no resultado comercial dos lançamentos musicais de Anthony e dava aos fãs a oportunidade de escutar alguma da sua música de biblioteca e televisão.
As séries tiveram início em 1989 com o lançamento do 1º volume, "Finger Painting" (inicialmente o seu lançamento foi disponibilizado numa edição limitada em cassete), que apresentava seleções dos vários projectos que Phillips compôs e gravou ao longo dos 10 anos anteriores. Um 2º volume, "A Sky Road", seguido em 1994, apresentava uma maior seleção de peças de livraria e televisão, ao lado de peças de album nunca lançadas anteriormente e faixas de arquivo.
O 3º volume, "Time & Tide", foi lançado em 1997 e pela primeira vez num lançamento comercial, trazia junto o melhor do trabalho colaborativo de Anthony Phillips com Joji Hirota, muito do qual foi apresentado nos programas vencedores de premios de longa duração, as séries "Survival".
2009 viu o lançamento de um 4º volume, "Pathways and Promenades", que juntou muitas das faixas individuais que Phillips tinha antes lançado apenas em compilações de vários artistas junto com alguns temas não lançados saídos da sua biblioteca.
Anthony trabalhou com o seu arquivista John Dann, com o intuito de preparar esta nova edição em caixa de música maravilhosa, compilando um novo CD adicional de 27 faixas, "Extra Missing Links", de raro material de arquivo, nunca anteriormente lançado, exclusivamente para este conjunto.
Apresenta ainda um ensaio extenso do arquivista de Anthony, Jon Dann.
"Missing Links I - IV" tem data de lançamento prevista para 27 de Novembro e já se pode fazer uma encomenda prévia através da Cherry Red e Amazon.
